Honest mistake

Gents

As it was brought to everyone's attention regarding Ciraldo's representative career (it even shows nil on the newcastle website, but we go by the Book), the bid for Ciraldo was not enough as per GC Rules and regs.

The trade was however allowed by The Committee (as we didn't check the Handbook yesterday arvo as we were in a particularly lazy mood), which is enough to stand up in a court of law.

As we are not playing for sheep stations, the following ruling has come down from above :

* the trade stands (as per Committee acknowledgement), but the apprpriate $200K charge will be applied (instead of the $150K bid and previously accepted).

We just can't justify taking the player off the squad when it was The Committee's fault for an incorrect ruling. We have however learnt that we now have to check every single trade going forward due to this (bugger - more work!), instead of leaving the research to you guys as we had done this far in GC10.

We happily welcome your thoughts and comments as long as you are happily aware we will probably ignore them Laughing
