Bears squad vs Aardvarks

Post  Stumpy on Fri Jun 17, 2016 3:28 pm

The brief this week was to 'feel free to colour up your sides'. I assume we were  meant to take that literally.

The Bears squad is:

W Taane Milne
FE Dave Brown
HF Paul Green
BR Brett White
BR Nathan Blacklock
BR Sam Burgess
FR David Shillington
HK Matt Parcell
FR Jesse Bromwich ©
ResBK Curtis Scott
ResBK Tuimoala Lolohea
ResFD Daniel Alvaro
ResFD Kane Evans

Bears look to have a few more available than us and also of a superior quality, so holding very little hope of keeping our 8 game winning streak alive and making it 9 on the trot. Crying or Very sad

To fill our squad - with the elections just around the corner and to keep the QLD flavour to our side - we've enlisted some famous (and maybe that famous should be infamous) QLD Politicians to wear the Aardvarks jersey on the day.

Our forward reserves are a couple of big pig  boppers who know how to do a Suspect dirty deal, wingers on the opposite sides of the field will make sure things are very politically monkey unacceptable whilst we have a couple of interesting leaders pirat to play in the halves and lead the side around the field. pale

Looks like the Bears left side better be on their toes defensively, cos the Aardvarks are obviously concentrating on the right wing; although half their bench will look to play down the left clown
